Taylor Instruments 808 Weekend Warrior Thermometer/Timer is a handy remote digital cooking thermometer with probe and timer. The stainless steel food probe features a silicone cover, 99 minute countdown timer and an LCD screen which shows the target temperature and current food temperature. When the meat reaches the target temperature, an alarm will sound.
In the center of the display is a graphic display that indicates both the level of doneness you have chosen (rare, medium rare, medium, well done, or poultry), and the current temperature. The bottom line of the display can display either the target temperature for the doneness you have selected, or the timer reading in 1/4 inch digits. The display also has a display backlight that illuminates the display for about 3 seconds whenever a button is pressed
