As the owner of two long hair St Bernards, I am dumb founded by the ridiculously inept designes available for vacuum attachments. I have no back ground in design at all, but I can see that this unit (and it seems to be the best of the bunch) has an obsurdly long stiff handle with tiny bristles (not shown in most photographs). What is the matter with these idiots who make things?? Heres a clue: Make an attachment that fits on the end of a vacuums hose, make it for large, long haired dogs (who else needs one?) with nice three quarter inch combs that are widely spaced (about an 1/8 inch apart) in a unit that is shaped to suck hair from the comb, should be a one hand fit, about 5 inches by about 4 inches total!! Geez! do I need to come down there and design one for you? Karumba!!I'm going to buy one because I need something and this seems the best bet...but I obviously have my doubts..I'll let you know if my instincts are correct and this unit is a stupid waste of time or also if I am wrong and it worked great... in the meantime I'll give it a hopeful three stars for being the only unit on the www that even gave it a serious try.
