How an in-ground fence works: A radio signal travels from the Fence Transmitter through a buried wire, marking the boundaries you wish to set for your dog. Your dog wears a Receiver Collar that detects the signal at the boundary. As your dog approaches the boundary, the receiver issues a warning tone. If he proceeds further, he receives a safe but startling Static Correction. While harmless, the correction will persuade him to stay in the containment area you've established. Boundary flags are a temporary visual aid for your pet; remove them after training.

How the remote trainer works: Your system includes a handheld remote. Choose tone-only, or choose a stimulation level from 1 through 9. A tap of the button provides a distraction from whatever your dog has gotten into. With your hands-on, patient training and a few carefully timed stimulations, you'll have a better behaved pet in no time.

How to Install Your Pet Fence:

Installing your pet fence is easy with our step-by-step instruction manual and common household tools. A typical quarter-acre lot installation should only take an afternoon and you'll be ready to train your dog to happily run free in the safety of his own yard.

After hanging the wall mount transmitter, the pet fence's control center, bury the fence wire 1"-3" under the lawn using a flat edge spade or gas powered edger.

After the system has been installed and tested, you're ready to begin training your dog. The full training program is outlined in detail on the Innotek Quick & Easy Training DVD. By following the instructions, you will be able to educate your dog to stay within the boundaries of your yard in less than two weeks. The training is easy with most of your time spent observing and playing with your dog.
